Ash Wednesday
February 17th – Mass & ashes at 8:15a.m., 12:00noon, 5:30p.m., and 7p.m. (Spanish Mass)
The Congregation for Divine Worship has released a note laying out the procedures priests around the world are to follow for the distribution of ashes at the start of Lent. The priest will bless the ashes and sprinkle them with holy water in silence, and then recite once the formula found in the Roman Missal: “Repent, and believe in the Gospel”. At that point, he will cleanse his hands, put on a face mask, and distribute ashes by sprinkling them silently on each person’s head.
Confessions during Lent
Our usual Saturdays from 3:30-4p.m. (except on Holy Saturday); after the 8:15a.m. daily Mass Monday-Saturday, and starting February 24th on Wednesdays from 7-8p.m.
Adoration
Tuesdays, 1-5p.m. with Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3p.m., Rosary at 4:30p.m., Benediction at 5p.m.; also Wednesdays from 7-8p.m. There will be a 24 hour Adoration on Friday, March 12th after the 8:15a.m. Mass until the 8:15a.m. Mass on Saturday, March 13th. Sign-ups will be in church.
Stations of the Cross
Fridays at 6:00p.m. Spanish Stations at 7 pm- On Good Friday at 3p.m.; Spanish Stations at 4p.m.
Lenten Mission
March 6th after the 4:30p.m. Mass. Fr. Jordan, O.P from Providence College will give our Mission.
